Young people living outside this catchment area may be considered for treatment by EPPIC if they have been receiving treatment for a maximum of 6 months, and they have definite plans to move into and reside continuously within the catchment area.

For young people living outside EPPIC's catchment area, contact the local mental health service or emergency department of your local hospital. In regions outside of the EPPIC catchment area, services are defined by where you live and the age of the person needing help. Adult services cover people aged 16-64 and Child and Adolescent Services treat those aged 0-18. For people in the cross over age of 16-18 it is worth ringing the Adult Services, but both should be able to provide the appropriate service information needed at first contact.
Public mental health services in Victoria work within Department of Human Services geographical boundaries.
